I've always believed BBK is rudderless strategywise. One time they close most of their branches, the next time they open hundreds; one time they target the niche market, the next time they deal with the masses; one time they dabble in bonds, the next time they lead in unsecured personal loans; one time they are masters of asset financing, the next time they are in islamic banking, no wonder their fortunes fluctuate so wildly. They seem to called it wrong this time, posting 14% (?) when everybody else, including neanderthals like Baroda are flying.
