Hi all? Am looking for a PDA. Am interested in one that has mobile office and that can be used to read pdf documents; additional features are welcomed. Is there anybody in the house who knows of the best model, a price guide and where to source the gadget. Please share with me..

Strictly speaking PDAs were supeseded by smatphones so ill refer to the latter in my post.
ill advise you to steer clear of blackberries, they have limited functionality beyond email. if you're cost conscious tafuta nokia e series (they should be retailing at not more than 25k by now). windows mobile based devices like HTC (mostly sold by safcom outlets) and sony ericsson experia easily match and exceed the criteria you've set

Forget about the black berries,Beside's they email capabilities, they are nothing more.

Go for a Nokia E Series if you want that business look or still an N series for some entertainment combined with the business aspect.

Iphones are for teenagers, so keep off them

HTC ,Android phones are just like linux boxes, Not so friendly and takes time to adapt to one.Again this is Africa, why go for Android while the Whites havent even finished testing them.

Thanks all. @ wally 5, I googled the Sony ericsson Xperia but it seems the product doesnt come with mobile office. Do you you know whether it has this application? Otherwise, thanks a lot.

Mtotana & Intelligentsia, I dont own an Xperia x10 but I have used my cousins. It does not hang and is very fast.Personally I think its the best phone around though the price of 47k is a little on the higher side.If you really need mobile office, buy any phone worth over 25k and download (and pay for) the mobile office application from Android market,Istore,Ovi store etc....
