With the passing of the new constitution, a major variable for the NSE (political risk) has been significantly changed.
This is obviously a good thing, but I was just thinking that it will certainly spell the end of foreign speculators with an apetite for high risk who, let's be honest are the majority of foreign investors in the bourse.
How will this change affect the market performance in the short and medium term.
While its still early days, the market's first week after the referendum has been rather subdued so far, I can bet most expected an immediate spike in prices. Can someone suggest the growth curve we can expect for the next six months.
Will ordinary Kenyans return to the bourse after the scalding they received from Safaricom (my mom does not intend to). The ordinary Kenyans do not trade significant volumes, but their lack of knowledge contributes significantly to price gains.
Can we discuss this topic as my plan was to exit the market at some point btn Aug 4 and 31 Dec and use the money on a downpayment for a mortgage.
