Its so crazy what it costs in Asmara, Eritrea as compared to what it costs in Caracas, Venezuela. For sure I'm moving permanently to Caracas. http://www.dailyfinance....und-the-world/19543148/

i thought a gallon should actually be less than 4 litres?
1 gallon = 3.785 litres?

Depends if it's the UK or US gallon
1 UK gallon = 4.546litres
1 US gallon = 3.785litres
I believe the article must be talking about the US gallon.

I visited Ghana some time ago and found that taxis there use LPG after some modification... Apparently its so efficient and cheap that the taxis can afford to be on the move 24 hours even without customers....
Three problems solved... No parking issues(taxis are always on the move)... No expensive fuel issues... No mungikis.. (a lot of youngsters are employed by the 9to5ers to earn something on the side for them)...
Of course there is a safety dimension to consider but the Ghanian drivers are polite. I suspected that if it were Kenya we would have explosions every 5 minutes considering that the LPG cylinder is carried in the trunk of the car.
