The selling foreigner at KENOL is stopping this bus from taking off. Everyday for about 2 months now - there has beena net sale by foreigners of about 40%-50% on average. With ready supply, the price isn't going anywhere.
If it's one foreigner selling, he/she must have had a huge holding in the stock! Should I be worried? The other buses are already moving.

@qw Thanks for the advice. I will get out after referendum. KENOL stock has been throwing me off balance too many times with all the drama.

I've actually already profited from this baby. The problem is the opportunity cost of holding on this one while the rest of the buses are moving. It's hard to overcome KPRL issues, Court Issues, MoE issues while the foreigners are selling the stock everyday.
Today alone they've sold 60% of about 20million. Who knows how much more they want to sell?

Annoying foreigner should have negotiated a deal to sell to a large buyer in a large chunk and spared us the over supply by selling on the open market.

Anyhow I can always get out of the counter as well.

KK will eventually have its day. It may not be today or tommorrow but once the KPRL issue is settled, this kid will rock. Last time I checked it was trading below its NAV.

If my buses keep moving at the current speed, I will take some of the profits n u guessed me right... get into KK.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

I am staying put... Why?

YES means more confidence & increased demand for fuel. Just what it is.

KK is also growing fast. New subsidiary in Mozambique set up to exploit the regional demand. Don't forget expansion in Burundi, Rwanda & DRC (via Rwanda)...

Aviation in East Africa is booming (see KQ) & this means sales of Jet A-1 is up as well...

KENOL has a lot of clouds hanging over their heads in the form of court cases. No one knows in who's favour the judgements will be. We can only hope. But once these cases are done away with, investors can move on from there

This is a very classic example of a growth stock . Their "go south" strategy will pay dividends and thus counter the low oil prices being forecastd in the coming years. ..... I wish the price cld just go down abit .

@qw if you think the stock is a good investment buy now. Trust me, the price will never fall to what you desire.

DUDE...what the heck is a "growth stock"???
..for one..a growth stock should atleast have an year on year ROE of AT LEAST 15 % over last 3 years..and that is just ONE factor..not considering super profits etc...

dividend payouts impede this coz that is money that could be re invested!

just because a company is expanding does not qualify it being a growth stock! AAAI!!!! Yawa!

Look.. in our market.. if out of every Ksh1 collected in revenue, 45% or more of it is retained as earnings...consider that a growth stock..especially if most of it is re invested to grow revenues...

KK moving south does not necessarily qualify it as a growth stock... international oil firms seem to be fleeing Kenya to better markets..our environment is such that to survive.. KK has to look for new markets...

wait for returns from such endeavors before calling it a growth stock.. well unless by growth stock you mean company expansion... LoL!
