I doubt anyone knows. Last year they paid like 6 months after their books closure.

These guys are screwed!

The Corporate Clients are being targeted by other firms (AK remains king for now) but the real growth will be SMEs... which are using Zuku, Safaricom & Orange...

So AK's market it 'stable' at best not growing!

Talk of market share n ak is in for an uphill task. We should pray for a tekeo bid to see these shares rally. In the mean time, the ceiling of 20 will be hard to crack.

the purses of AK investors are sure to be visited by leanness.
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

I dont understand why access is so adamant on price adjustment - that they can only give you more bandwidth. isnt this not suicidal in the face of mobile competitors?. Access used to have a credible critical advantage in having a very stable and reliable connection but that is no longer confined to them. nowadays my safaricomline can stay connected/stable the whole day.

Me too,am on safcom live all day! But i sincerely thank access k because with the mass profit decline of about 60% this stock has really shown high resistance, infact i was expecting 12-15,that news has been factored so it can only go up now

Kwani CMA has no powers to punish companies who delay to pay their dividends? Or force companies to make websites? Stella! Fanya Kazi.

I've never been able to understand Access Kenya's future prospects by looking at their statements..but again IT firms are hard for me to understand! You'd better push for these dividends as they might be the last ever paid. I have a couple of questions:
1. Is there a way to establish that all shareholders HAVEN'T been paid...(i.e. can the firm / Comprite) confirm in writing that no shareholder has been paid to date? That way at least you're all in the same boat

2. Isn't it unusual for a growth firm with good-to-great prospects to pay out a dividend? Isn't management able to deploy those funds and get a greater return than shareholders could on their own? Welcome your thoughts.

3. Hypothetically, why would a shareholder continue to hold shares in a firm with declining gross and net margins, ROE & ROA (or, wonder of wonders, bid the price up)?

The sooner they get a buyer the better, there are signs of bunkrupsy.
