relax. two can play the game. quietly come up with a detailee list of his professional blunders at work esp procurement related, copies of the 'seditious' emails. then have a chat with the dude. if he persists, talk to the ombudsman if one exists at your workplace. if you are psycho and want to go overboard, you could even try get contacts of his mpango wa kandos .... etc.

A few months ago my immediate sup was a egotistical bully. He failed to send in a report I had done and it was serious. So he blamed me to his boss saying that I had not completed it on time and even took in a plain paper claiming it was what I had turned in. I figured the man was trying to get me fired. Since I knew all the shenanigans that he has done, I went to the company and filed a hostile workplace claim. Poof! Just like that he was gone.

So there is a time to take it and a time to wage war. If someone is trying to mess with your ugali, you better mess with theirs.
