Up 8%. That's great. But I think we'll have to wait until Monday to see whether the trend will continue.

I agree wid carb...got my reasons....same reasons when I had predicted --------KenolKobil at 46bob
---Centum at 18(dont think there is much more oompfh in the short term for this)
---Add stanchart, to this, results coming out shortly, estimated eps here should be 10 for the half year...

I have ZERO shares in Carbacid. And how can you be so sure that there will be no rally?
But it was a good buy by Centum

Centum is a great share .it just needs time. Its a politically sensitive share so the uncertainity on the referendum is affecting it. Come August this stock 'll be hot. I might hav messd up with the timing but yet again August isnt very far, isit ?

sparkly,I didn't hear of that.
Only thing I know is that the company divested from RVRI by selling its10% stake for 330 million.
In its full year ended 31 March 2010 statement, its stated that it acquired 22% of carbacid worth 419 million and received a dividend income of 42 million from this.

"By the time we were closing our books on March 31 2010, the value of this investment had risen to 887 million and we had received 42 million in dividend income", said Mworia
