I bought some share last month... From my brokers side the statement indicates that the transaction was successful and the amount was deducted... but after checking the online cdsc statement... its indicated as a "pending buy"... any one with any infor on this?

Look up T+4 [or is it +5?]
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Then ask your broker what that means

I seem to have similar problem. Sold some share around the same time in May, but shows as pending. I also bought some share in June, but the information is only partially updated. Yet the statement from my broker is up to date as far as the of transactions is concerned.
So how timely, accurate and reliable, the CDSC online data?

do not waste your time with the online cdsc facility if you trade frequently e.g once per month. Ask your broker to send you a pdf statement. The cdsc website is grossly inaccurate

@Sarovi - The cdsc website is rarely updated. I had a similar issue which I even posted here some time back [Click on this Link: About the CDSC website]. I followed up with them and realized the problem was that their website and webmaster are bure kabisa.

You can rely on your broker but if your broker is a crook then you are fried. He will simply send you fake statements. That is why CDSC needs to get their act together!

I suppose it depends on your trading patterns. There are guys who make an average of two "big" trades a month. For such guys once a month is frequent. Then there are day traders who can't even remember all the plays they've made in a month accurately...
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
