@Morey-please verify if this LCD TV is compatible with MPEG 4 digital broadcasts for Kenya.
This is cause freeview TV in the UK is using MPEG2 for SDTV.

Hi guys, just sent a sample of 17pcs which will be in the shop by next week Thursday(08 July 10).The shop is in Ungwaro 56 stage 2(Ungwaroo???Ooh yeah i know its weird to some but thats where am based at the moment)You can call my old guy at 0720712354 for more info.

I first bought one for my own use and i can assure you the monitor is magnificent,no more fighing with my little one over TV remote coz i can switch the input source(DTV or VGA) whenever i feel like.

@Eddy:Did you mean DVT or DTV?

@Eddyz:UK Uses DVB-T/MPEG-2 for SD and DVB-T2/H.264/MPEG-4 for HD transmissions so it must be compatible.

@Morey, I meant DTV of course and would also like to know about compatibility issues as Eddz has raised, will be waiting, and just to confirm did you say they are new, coz i have been to your old mans' shop in Kawangware 56 and bought a number of 2nd hand stuff - bike/water pipe/computer lcd monitor etc.

@morey:for HD reception in the UK you had to get a HD set top box or HD TV with H.264/MPEG-4 tuner as most sets and boxes are only meant for SD with MPEG2.The only sure way is to check if your sets can directly receive KBC signet digital channels (not freeview!!)without the "star" set top box.
Confirm and tell us.
