@Wanyina, why don't you sign up for EFT dividend payments? I find this mode of payment quite convenient and the dividends arrive promptly.

Sorry if this sounds silly, but do 2:5 shares equate to 1:10 because what I calculated seems the same and have the rights been confirmed at 17/- Thanks

2 for 5 equates to 4 for 10
You just double either side of the equation

EFT = Electronic Funds Transfer

Fill in a form at your brokers indicating that you would like all your future dividends paid directly into your bank account.

This way you do not have to worry about lost, misplaced cheques etc

@ My 2 cents...Thanks 4 yr help i will do that IN ONE OF MY ACCOUNT ie PERSONAL a/c although in the other accounr Nomura nominee i preffer dividends re-invested but D&B takes for ever to deposit..But anyway thanks for that information i will activate the process right away...thats helpfull...
