Hallo to Investors and the people with say in the Business world.
My name is Roger.I'm young but i got big dreams of becoming the WHO's in the world business community in the near future.Trading in stocks is one of the ventures i'd like to be involved in.i got an opportunity to participate competition named above(Nairobi stock exchange challenge) It started on 1st June and is running for three months. Its a simulation of the NSE where we deal with stocks the same with NSE and the prices are also same.Over the past 10days i've made a huge loss of about 50,000 and i was asking any one willing to help me play this game to do so i'd really appreciate. Tips and advices will be greatly appreciated.One is given a start-up virtual capital of shs. 1,000,000.For more information just ask and i'll avail it to you.

buy 4000 shares of williamson tea...sell them after they announce they results which they are going to announce soon...ur gonna gonna make some good money in a few days

Ooh @rogersha82, how interesting; I wonder how astute Wazuans would do if they were allowed to participate...

Okay my thoughts are it's a purely short-term play, what with only a 3 month time frame. So ironically, you are required to specultate to 'learn about investments'.

So in my opinion, I'd gamble on shares that are down-trodden or will have some kind of results soon (liquidity - availability of shares is not a concern in the game).

SGL, EXP, CMC, KQ

Note however you have to time your exits carefully. Many transactions lead to more transaction charges. Good Luck.

Thank you @mugunda. Actually my loss has been due to the brokerage fees.I'll sure check them out when the market opens on monday and keep you informed.

Agriculturals - these counters have just gone through periods of consolidation, and will be risin rapidly in the coming weeks. with the USD strengthening against the shilling tea earnings are also expected to be good.

Rea vipingo oversold and will rise, dont keep it for too long.
