Five detectives who raided a Kitui Village last week in search of millions of shillings stolen from G4S Security firm by two employees have recorded statements. This is as a result of a protocol hitch because they did not involve their eastern province counter parts.
Similar cases are with the detectives who investigated tax evasion at KPA. Some of them were transfered while some lost their jobs.
Who should be on the run in this case?

you holding brief for these cops? the laid down procedure/codes/rules governing the operations of the police force are there for a reason. they broke them willfully and they should pay for that.

from the little information available from the media, i think that the real reason why they dashed to kitui without informing anybody was the urge to get the loot for themselves.

btw, these guys went as far as digging up graves, without following the law. last i heard, you needed a court order or something like that in order to exhume. so why do you want to make them heroes now?

Some of this is not crime fighting, it's just plain old greed at work. I imagine they were so disappointed in not finding the money, they forgot or just ignored to cover the grave. Msiba wa kujiletea.
