Where are the census results?

Even an ENIAC could do better than 6 months in preparing the results of the last Census? Why dont we have these results as yet? Could this be strategic so we do not know how the many immigrants have been given IDs?

But honestly, I think census results ought to be out before we vote for the referendum and before 2012 coz at this rate, it appears we may have to wait for 2013 for the results to come out. It just adds to the number of question marks citizens of this country have in their minds concerning the current regime.

Has anyone got any hint on these results?

COOKING!! COOKING!!!
Well thats just in jest!

The logistics involved in this kind of exercises are daunting and especially so, for third world countries like Kenya.

Whatever happens we are entitled to knowing the census results, and in reasonable time frame, period.

However lets try to draw parallells (compare and contrast) between the census exercise and the 2007 election process and the results.

The census exercise didnt have to deal with the challenges of incited youths frustrating its operations all over the place, as well as influential politicians perpectually casting aspersions and issuing threats.

The actual census was carried out in several days whereas voting had to be completed in one day.

The results had by law to be announced in 3 days time,- by 30th whereas the census results have all the time under the sun.

In this case can we mete the same attitude and treatement to those incharge of the censusus?
