according to today's trading (16-04-2010), shares worth more than half a billion ksh have changed hands, 99.78% of the seller/s being foreigners. Who has the 411 of what's happening?

@jaguar news is reflected more in the share price rather than on turnover...

since the share price is flat then i dont think anything has gone down... may just be foreigners closing their postions on the counter....

I think the share has hit a very strong resistance point of 200.Also the issue of competition by increased capacity of portland and new entrants mombasa cement which have lower priced cement have started to visibly put pressure on their sales.

But their balance sheet compared to its peers is so rosy,awash with cash and considering the low P/E of 10 plus the fact that the cement industry as a whole is expected to grow by over 10%...this is a no brainer I have picked chunks at 185 and 187...I expect a bonanza with this one.
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

plus they have a 0.4mta plant almost complete and low elec costs on the horizon.
