i ordinarily don't agree with many of the strange things that this man talks about but today he was spot on - he put it to the church leaders that they were going against teachings by insisting that worshippers must continually 'plant seeds' as a sure way of having their prayers answered. I hope Bishop/Doctor/MP Wanjiru is listening!

....going aganist teachings....

The Teachings according to The Bible, The Koran, The Torah and other Religious writtings are, in my opionion, subject to different interpretations.

The slave masters in the United States and the Arab world were ardent adherers of their respective faith.

I give you the creators and practitioners of Apartheid. Another very Religious lot.

Need I mention "Islamic Fundamentalists" who advocate "terror" as a weapon of war?

Let the Bishops, Fathers, Reverends, Mullahs and various other Religious Leaders do their thing but do not Judge them, for as the Lord says, ... vegence is mine...

My penny thoughts.

Many people believe answered prayer is God granting a prayer request that is offered to Him. If a prayer request is not granted, it is understood as an “unanswered” prayer. However, this is an incorrect understanding of prayer. God answers every prayer that is lifted to Him. Sometimes God answers “no” or “wait.” God only promises to grant our prayers when we ask according to His will. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him” (1 John 5:14-15).So let No one tell you that u must Plant anything to have a prayer answered

What does it mean to pray according to God’s will? Praying according to God’s will is praying for things that honor and glorify God and/or praying for what the Bible clearly reveals God’s will to be. If we pray for something that is not honoring to God or not God’s will for our lives, God will not give what we ask for. How can we know what God’s will is? God promises to give us wisdom when we ask for it. James 1:5 proclaims, “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” A good place to start is 1 Thessalonians 5:12-24, which outlines many things that are God’s will for us. The better we understand God’s Word, the better we will know what to pray for (John 15:7). The better we know what to pray for, the more often God will answer “yes” to our requests.
Let no oe therefore tell you that u must plant anything to have prayers answered.
For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19

Matt 6.33 tells us that we need to first seek the Kingdom of God

1 Thess 5.18 tells us that in everything we should give thanks

Phil 4.6, we do should not be anxious about anything but with thanksgiving present our requests to God

Deut 8 Be careful to follow God's commands

Thess 5.17 we need to pray without ceasing...

We need to understand that the answer is up to God and according to his will...but we need to always live according to his commands and submit to his will, believe and pray and we will be granted what we need, which is not always what we want or at the time we want...

@mzazii Where is the full message?

My penny thoughts.

Those thoughts are too cheap. Less than a penny, infact Shame on you Shame on you

Sorry, but I think you have limited knowledge
You may be right in some things you said, but you are wrong when you said "Islamic Fundamentalists" who advocate "terror" as a weapon of war"
I don't know where you got that from, but I know this is what you feel is wrong in Islam.

I like your being frank and open but...
I want to convince you that what you've said not correct.

You have been ignoring the positive nature of Islam
...and only focusing on what you hear from people.
These enemies of Islam say:
- "Oh! Those Muslims who marry more than one woman"
- "Ah! Those people who oppress women by keeping them behind the veil"
- "Mmmm! They are fundamentalists”
- etc

Muslim stereotypes are perpetuated in every form of the media
So much allegations, so much gross misinformation.
In fact, such misinformation and false propaganda results in wrong perception about Muslims.

Example:
remember the anti-Muslim campaign in the American media following the Oklahoma bomb blast?
The press was quick to declare a ‘Middle Eastern conspiracy’ behind the attack.
But you know what? The culprit was later identified as a soldier from the American Armed Forces.
