I have a daughter who is almost 2 years old and am thinking of taking insurance for her education. I have been approached by sales agents from CFC life, Jubilee and Old mutual. Any positive experiences from Wazualendo on education polocies that may help me make the right choice?

@redondo,cfc life so far has been a good one and i know of enough pple who've taken up savings plans for their children.my experience with old mutual hasnt been a good one coz the investment was a mutual fund.why dont you try an offshore education savings plan with say Friends Provident International?their local representative is Dry Associates Investment Bank based in Westlands

Hi, Keep off kabisa from these Education Insurance things, the Rate of Return you will get will be negligible...........just take your time to invest wisely.

Had a 14 year policy with Canon and a 9 year one with Jubilee. Both matured and I was paid off. The returns on the cash I contributed didnt get to double digits and in retrospect they were BAD decisions. What I should have done is take out pure life insurance for myself, and buy some stocks - any stock and park them for that period of time. Education policy benefits only the agent who sells it to you.
