I want to import some goods through this site. Has any one used it to do business? kindly share your experience or advice.

Alibaba does NOT sell stuff!!!!

It is a directory where [mainly] Chinese and Asian ex[porters are listed.

You can get a supplier for virtually anything on Alibaba...but Alibaba does NOT export anything.

I used it four years ago when I was looking for a Chinese manufacturer of Salon equipment. Got one and imported the stuff from them.

You may also want to check out www.ec21.com....another directory of manufacturers

Thanks Mukiha for correcting and sharing information. Let me rephrase my statement. How reliable & trustworthy are suppliers registered with this site (directory)?

Alibaba uses a customer rating system to grade the companies listed. I would recommend you stick to the GOLD rated suppliers.

As I said,I imported some stuff from a companies [three] listed on Alibaba,four years ago. they were all gold rated and they all delivered the products promptly.

How were your items freighted here,by air or by ship ?And is it the seller who decides how to send you the stuff?
