i have like close to 1m KES which i want to put in reliable self sustaining income generating project. a pal of mine gave me an idea about doin some serious agriculture at the YATTA scheme (about 20mins from Thika,on your way to Mwingi) and from what i gathered,it sounded a really venture especially with tomatoes. he tells me that land is rented in parcels of 5ha and with greenhouses well managed, one can make serious cash from tomatoes and the likes. Am currently undertaking a feasibility study to determine the viability of the project and make a decision.I wish to get contributions on from those who have done/heard about it on:
-Any unperceived risks like con other than normal business risk.
-From experience, how profitable/ risky can it get ....in terms of losing initial capital?
Your input will be highly valued.
