Rank: Member Joined: 1/27/2009 Posts: 70		SKs, Anyone with experience of one. Got one not long ago. Traction on road superb. However,consumption not as good compared to other 1500cc VVTi coz doing approx.11Kms/litre super. Is this consumption normal or do i take it for some good servicing as some guys have been advising me? Your opinions appreciated in advance. Rank: Veteran Joined: 9/11/2007 Posts: 816		Yes better traction.... & yes 4WDs are less fuel efficient than front wheel drive cars (they're also slightly heavier). AWD (full time) is least efficient because its always engaged.... therefore drawing more power from the engine. ...but (I think) you should not expect over 10% more consumption for same engine size. No Mazda & Ford are NOT the same. The only connection is that both are distributed by CMC through the 'Ford & Mazda Division' of the company. Madza something - same shape - smallish pick up like a 1200 datsun (or an opel pickup)....
