Plse..Does anyone knows where i can get high yielding (20-50 liters)freshian or so cows .how much do they sell @ cow / heifer?

any advice on dairy field? or upgrading low yielding cow with high quality semens!

Please do a search on the daily nation newspaper.A few months ago there was a story about former minister Dr Chris Murungaru who operates a very successful farm where you can buy heifers( freshian) which produce around 60 litres a day.Good Luck

You can check the delamere farm near naivasha .. but they sell are a bit higher price

You could try University of East Africa Baraton. I was told that they do sell heifers and that is closer to you.

Am also interested but not immediately. Yesterday's nation classified had an ad for incalf freshian. Didnt call but the number's 0720097766 . Had enquired from Amboni farm a month ago,were selling incalf at 130k n a mature heifer 75k. Their number's 0724616501

Many people have bought cattle whose owners have given them glowing reviews only to be disappointed.

most farmers tend to sell those animals that are poor producers or have a certain problem but not their top flock.
