As @tycho told us once, a court of law values truth, and employs a method of reaching this truth. There should be witness, and proof of guilt of the family. Remember, in Islam, there is no compulsion in religion, you can leave and practice new religion in peace.

isn't this more of a saudi woman rather than a muslim woman, ama saudi = islam

I find this young lady's story largely credible.
I have nothing but compassion for her in her situation.

here she tells her story:
