Hi Wazuans, Am looking for options of camping sites not too far from nairobi( less than 100kms) to take out my sons to. Will appreciate. Please note we are novices

Start at Carnelly's in Naivasha. Better than Kingfisher, less drunkards. You can prob rent tents etc there.

Carnelly's as recommended by ChairMundu is a nice place. You may also consider Oasis Eco at the shores of Elemetaita. Its certainly outside your radius but it's a nice and worth getaway.

Sleeping outside in the grass, no water and no inside toilets, insects, lizards and snakes sneaking into your bed - sounds like a treat!

Get this over lander app https://play.google.com/...ansen.ioverlander.droid
It shares campsites around the country, Africa etc, it shows whether you can access by car or SUV , the number of campers currently there, the amenities like toilets, shower, security etc, it's updated by users almost daily which is nice, Kenya has some really nice camping sites, but sadly very few Kenyans will be there and it's really cheap,eg it cost only 300 per head per nighin maara, for security, toilets and showers, very cheap and adventurous compared to bonfire safaris packages
To Each His Own
