A long serving director, B.C. Patel continues to accumulate the stock and now holds about 30% of the company's free float stock. Does he know something that we don't?

However, what we know is:
2014 profit was flat
2015 profit was down
2016 profit was down
HY2017 profit is down pointing to a stagnation is FY2017
PE (9.4) is above the sector average
PB (1.4) is above the sector average

On the flip side,
Consistent dividend payer
Growing assets
Little / No debt

Is the consumption of carbon dioxide down or there's new competition? We still drink carbonated drinks despite the economy..

So this is contradictory. First u say he continues to accumulate then u ask whether he is still accumulating.

The weakness of Baloobhai Patel is that he doesnt know when to exit from a falling house earlier. He was burnt in Mumias and i hope he learnt.
Im waiting for full year results in october for my next decision, meanwhile i take advantage of the falling price to buy more.

Ebenyo this guy is a legend by his own right. Err is to human. Lets not dwell on small mistakes. He has amassed a wealth larger than the wazua fraternity combined on the stock market. Lets not even go to his real estate empire where he owns almost half the commercial buildings in westlands
