Me thinking about Adam Smith is something very open to interpretation to warrant it being a premise to back your sentiments.
Ethic looks like an algorithm, and morals the the material for the algorithm. Can one be without the other? No.
The election reasoning may be false since relationships and conditions have changed.
Is empathy necessary for understanding others, or is it an obstacle?
