What are the motives of the mind, or of the civilization?

How do they use 'empathy'?

All I get from that article is that Empathy is inhumane and unethical...I tend to agree with the article though
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

Why is that all that you get from the article?

The article makes me think of Adam Smith. Even empathy is selfish.

Because that's what it is all about,If it makes you think about Adam smith. Can there be morals without ethics or vice versa?

Again, if the voter turnout for 2017 is the same as 2013 the likelihood of a runoff is high...Remember Uhunye only won with less than 8,500 votes in 2013

Me thinking about Adam Smith is something very open to interpretation to warrant it being a premise to back your sentiments.

Ethic looks like an algorithm, and morals the the material for the algorithm. Can one be without the other? No.

The election reasoning may be false since relationships and conditions have changed.

Is empathy necessary for understanding others, or is it an obstacle?

A friend told me that Adam Smith is often misunderstood, and I suspect that he was right. Smith understood the nature of Man in a certain and limited context that rightly places him among the greats of our history.

Now one only has to link him to Sun Tzu to see community, or even society as warfare and that the most empathic of sentiments are never devoid of violence...

But mostly this kind of being is a decadent one that has to be changed if Man is to make any reasonable advances.
