Try EaseUs Data Recovery Wizard (get the full software off torrentz2.eu) or Recuva (from priform.com).

amekataa kutoa pesa sasa...? his alternative is to ask them to masticate each other so that he can take photos. especially if he does not get a proper free one and not one of those side loaded apps that you are not sure what you have installed on your phone.
