Question is if your mother found you doing this to your kid how would she react, but we cut our babies Kirimi (that small tongue) so I guess this is acceptable although unheard of in Kenya, Guys are buying pool covers when they get kids

Yeah..duh!
They are in water inside the mom.
That said, they must be watched at all times (another duh!). They can drown in an inch of water. Later when older, they lack the fear of water and can drown, especially in large bodies of water....

I have seen adults screaming for their gods, mothers, fathers and grandmothers when they slip in the shallow end of public pools.

Why do people think throwing babies in pools is not traumatic?
