Saturday Nation January 23,2016 reports that the top performing 2015 KCPE candidate, with 449 marks, has not been selected to join any of the national schools in Kenya.
This is the 'perfect' case to advocate for the 'No-pupil-left-behind' suggestion.
The Ministry of Education should atleast use it for a 'dummy' admission test, and compare these results with their real manual results.
How many brighter kids with 300 marks and above will be left out/behind or given unfair selections?

murchr, I thought that was big news worth its own thread. It is a classic case why my 'No-pupil-left-behind' suggestion should not be ignored. Brilliant kids are being left behind by being given inferior selections or none.

Media reports that the top pupil has been inserted in Alliance High admission list. Good for him. How many such 'victims' , most without media advocates and campaigners, some even not aware that they are downwards selected, will be created at the end of this manual selection exercise?
