A friend of mine (a prominent piece writer in the business daily newspaper who also runs a fairly well to do human resource company... who may actually be a member of this forum) got married in the most interesting and humbling way. We were called to a church service - same as kawaida. Then after the preaching the pastor called them to the front and married them. We left and found yoghurt and meatballs hapo nje then tukaenda. No show... no marching! no gowns. it was like an after church service exercise (for watu wa shags... kama ile kuuza physical offerings kama kuku to convert to 'pesa taslimu')
