And a first prize for kienyeji medicine (Chinese) artemisinin. Or rather the first confession.

Malaria would have been easily controlled, if quinine had been promoted for use as a herb globally, no resistance would have developed (long chemistry theory but true), instead it had to be marketed in tablets for pecuniary though unsustainable reasons. Artemisinin has taken of in the wrong direction, resistance is already developing in Kenya, whereas it may have not, if it were promoted to be administered the Chinese way.

Eventually treating and eliminating malaria will depend on finding an anti-malarial herb, and delivering it in it's natural context.
