facebook page without any information in the about us section on what they are and what they do! had to go to their website which does not give any meaningful information. once is only left with a feeling that it seems to be a clone of mshwari - a shylock focused business plan. waste of my time.

One reason to take this idea seriously:

Mathew Flannery

This is the fellow who invented Kiva and helped launch the global crowdfunding industry. You could say he knows a thing or two about banking the poor.

Now if he could tap the power of markets to grow the Branch concept....

Some curious oddities.

Whois search of branch.co shows privacy protection (kiva.org is not hidden). Odd.

Domain first registered Sept. 13 2015.

No contact except via fb (page seems dead now) or email. Double odd.

Playstore no contacts except email or website.

App needs access to you FB data. Who are you giving your data to?
