I'd like to think that the mind can dissociate relations and meanings. Like, tycho can reorder what he believes or actually knows.

I also wish to renounce the Man God idea. It's far from optimal or necessary because God indeed, isn't a necessary explanation or cause of the universe.

In as much as the idea of God is contingent on my experience and thought, then he/she or it remains significantly limited even when I attribute omniscience, omnipotence and even omnipresence to 'him'. 'He' becomes the prisoner of my psychology, and even if indeed there was a God beyond my cognition then I'd certainly be do him or myself, no favor at all.

Consequently, the question as to whether God exists or doesn't ceases to be of value to me.

Nay, neither do 'worship' nor 'sin' retain significance to me. They are unnecessary concepts, and why should I cling on them?

Why do ideas need to be defended?

Kwani who/what is threatening them?

Ideas need to be defended when new ideas are perceived and change is necessitated. The biggest threat is how the mind works or structures itself through socialization.
