There is this KQ stock that you may have thought got a flat tire but its negotiating corners like Nothing!!...Fundamentals still unconvincing but its Technicals are on a rally! If you got in the bandwagon last month, the coffe berries are turning red now....KQ will set a 52week high before April 1 fools day. Drool Drool

Have gained my target in few months thanks to @obiero. Hope was right to sell at 11. If goes back to 8 I buy again. If goes up am still contemplating my action....

@Obiero, truth be told. Naomba nitoboe siri. The price momentum for KQ is not reversing at 11. its 52 week high of 13.85/= is a target so near. All things held constant, the low fuel prices plus the injected new management seems to be the short-term game changer! This is sweet candy for speculators! 26% gain is already in the money bag and still counting...

Delta to use fuel drop to cut debt, return cash to investors http://www.reuters.com/a...s-idUSKBN0KT1DX20150120

The underlying theme for Airlines with the fuel savings is debt reduction, fleet expansion/improvement & or rewarding investors.

As for KQ, debt reduction is most applicable. Fleet renewal is near finished.

Hedges maintained at 27% for FY2015/16 will do the trick. If Jambo Jet operates on spot market fuel, even better.

Ignoring grammar of the title of the thread. Just one concern...out of every shilling KQ collects in revenue from its CORE business...cargo/people transit..out of every shilling collected..how much remained as profit?

Otherwise..too much inefficiencies and unnecessary overhead items.

verdict: It was crap in 2010. It remains crap 2015. but proudly so. The pride of Africa.

Lower fuel prices will help KQ but are the planes PLF (passenger load factor) above break-even?
What level/amount of loans does KQ have after all the deliveries?
