I was shocked to recently discover that Kenya comes in the top 5 countries that farm and export sisal.

Guys,

I know too little. I have on me some 5m with support from family. I want to get in on this either partner up and do what it takes if it needs more financing I will work for it but let the works and planning begin.

I was wondering whether counties other than taita would be suitable for this?
Samburu? Marsabit? Tana? Isiolo?

I know I may have stated counties too far but from my knowledge it needs dry land and land may be rather cheaper in those regions..or am I wrong?

Also the fact of growing in a deserted place could lead to better opportunities here in the coming years.. seeing a vision here..

Guys anyone with knowledge to share or info?

just read the story on that link, very interesting. I wud encourage u to start with what u have and grow taratibu as u learn the ropes.
