Another day. Another loss. @obiero kuji-enjoy... Selling out at a loss was one of the best investing decisions I have ever made... Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

Loss Before Tax of KShs 4,861,000,000 ... No idea about Loss After Tax. KQ is being sketchy with the info! *Take off? More like a crash landing* Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

If the results are "worser" than the news of Mbuvi then it will be cabin crew prepare for landing. Go for a business that any idiot can run – because sooner or later, any idiot is probably going to run it – Peter Lynch

I still maintain Titus Naikuni ought to have been relieved of his duties as CEO in 2008! The first time it emerged that staff was blotted..overheads were largely employee related and passengers were being charged below cost of transit. It took him 5 years to admit operating margins were untenable. FIVE FREAKING YEARS! ..Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven...Matt5:16 - 1769 Oxford King James Bible 'Authorized Version

And all along we were "celebrating" new planes..new routes..passenger numbers and crap about "leading brand" .. LOL! I laugh because it's too sad to cry. ..Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven...Matt5:16 - 1769 Oxford King James Bible 'Authorized Version

*Take off? More like a crash landing* Gosh, that is huge and they've been so consistent. Very soon they will start begging for a bail-out from GOK. BBI will solve it :)

Quote:If a capitalist had been present at Kitty Hawk back in the early 1900s, he should have shot Orville Wright. He would have saved his progeny money. But seriously, the airline business has been extraordinary. It has eaten up capital over the past century like almost no other business because people seem to keep coming back to it and putting fresh money in. I have an 800 number now that I call if I get the urge to buy an airline stock. I call at 2 in the morning and I say: 'My name is Warren, and I'm an aeroholic.' And then they talk me down.
