I want to buy a piece of land and I want a reliable company with prices that are not obscene.

Has anyone dealt with these companies before?

They have lots for 90k at Oltepesi/Tinga, 70kms from Nairobi. I went for a site visit and the land itself does not yet have the official road (yet it's on the map). The ground is that kind of archeological rock and full of shrubs. I also saw an impala (or was it a gazelle. like Chinese, they all look the same). Some beaconing had been done, but it is still ongoing. Office

PRC - prc.co.ke - Talbot Court Westlands
I have been contacting former buyers and they say they have had a good experience with them. Anyone here who has dealt with them?

Soil Merchants - soilmerchants.co.ke - Krishna Centre, 5th Floor, Westlands.
I visited their site and they have land in Kisamis which they are selling for 195k for an 1/8th, 800mts from the road. I tried calling the numbers last week(they are only two airtel numbers on the site), no one picked. Today, one was off, another just rang. None of them have tried to call back. They say you can pay a deposit and clear the balance over 2 years.

What do you guys think? Anyone who can help? I have been inspired to ask especially after reading the post on Thuo Investment Company - http://wazua.co.ke/forum.aspx?g=posts&t=16679
