Dear Members,

With utmost respect, we're reviving this thread.
Please, pretty please, we request:

1. Only post inspirational/spiritual messages
2. No arguments no preaching
3. If you need to dispute Christian beliefs, use another thread.

The Wazua spirit

Can we post Islamic inspiration here or will you be fair and also start us a thread??

Dear Members,

Adhan is a very special Islamic call to prayer. Respectfully allow those who believe as such to share their belief here.

If you need to dispute any Islamic beliefs or question, do not do it on this thread.

Am not a Muslim but some of the inspiring words I have found are from the Last sermon of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

"O People, listen well to my words, for I do not know whether, after this year, I shall ever be among you again. Therefore, listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Treat others justly so that no one would be unjust to you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (riba), therefore all riba obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. God has judged that there shall be no riba and that all the riba due to `Abbas ibn `Abd al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived.

Every right arising out of homicide and blood-killing in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right that I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabi`ah ibn al Harith ibn `Abd al Muttalib.

O people, the Unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which God forbade, and to forbid that which God has made permissible. With God the months are 12 in number. Four of them are sacred, three of these are successive and one occurs singly between the months of Jumada and Sha`ban. Beware of the devil, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights over your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under God's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. It is your right and they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste...

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God (The One Creator of the Universe), perform your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your financial obligation (zakah) of your wealth. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before God (The Creator) and you will answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, no prophet or messenger will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words, which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the Quran) and my Sunnah (the life style and the behavioral mode of the Prophet). If you follow them you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people."

The title of this thread is a tad misleadingSad

while Ijumaa is the official day for obligatory congregational prayers ...
Not exactly like Sabath

?....from Mr Google..... allow me to C&P..

"Muslims observe five formal prayers each day. The timings of these prayers are spaced fairly evenly throughout the day, so that one is constantly reminded of God and given opportunities to seek His guidance and forgiveness.

Muslims observe the formal prayers at the following times:

Fajr (pre-dawn): This prayer starts off the day with the remembrance of God; it is performed before sunrise.

Dhuhr (noon): After the day's work has begun, one breaks shortly after noon to again remember God and seek His guidance.

'Asr (afternoon): In the late afternoon, people are usually busy wrapping up the day's work, getting kids home from school, etc. It is an important time to take a few minutes to remember God and the greater meaning of our lives.

Maghrib (sunset): Just after the sun goes down, Muslims remember God again as the day begins to come to a close.

'Isha (evening): Before retiring for the night, Muslims again take time to remember God's presence, guidance, mercy, and forgiveness.

In Muslim communities, people are reminded of the daily prayer times through the calling of the adhan.

"Muslims observe five formal prayers each day... And the "ADHAN" is the calling as reminder of the daily prayer."

I agree with @siringi the title is misleading. I suggest the below title:
Wazua... adhan, call to salah, 5times7

Or

Wazua... adhan, call to prayer, 5times7

Or

Wazua... enjoin good & forbid evil

The fruits Islam has created the biggest society of teetollers in the world. There over 1.6 billion Muslims in the world, and all are teetollers.
They don't indulge in alcohol. These are the fruits.

In Islam, we say even a social drinker, is not allowed. The prophet said:
"Whatever intoxicates in a greater quantity is also unlawful in a small quantity." No excuse for a tot!! Out!!

The Quran 5:90-91 says:
"You who believe! Intoxicants and Gambling, all are an abomination of Satan's handiwork.
Eschew such abomination, that you may prosper.
Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling,
and hinder you from the remembrance of God, and from prayer; will you not then abstain?
"

These are the fruits. The fruits of the teaching of Islam.

In "Majuu" according to brother Jimmy Swaggart, there are 11 milion drunkards. That's what he said in his book. 11 million drunkards and 44 million heavy drinkers. And brother Jimmy Swaggart says he sees no difference between them. That means 55 million, he sees all of them to be drunkards. The only difference is, there are far enough.

According to brother Jimmy Swaggart, 54 billion dollars per year, is lost in gambling!

Mary (pbuh)- The Mother of Jesus (pbuh)
Honoured in The Qur’an
Behold! The angels said:
"O Mary!
Allah has chosen you and purified you; chosen you above the women of all nations."

Miracle Of The Qur'an
Sea is mentioned 32 times in the Qur'an.
Land is mentioned 13 times in Qur'an.

Sea (32) + Land (13) = 45 ... if so then

Sea = 32/45 x 100 = 71.111%
Land = 13/45 x 100 = 28.889%
Sea + Land = 100%

Modern science has recently proven that:
1. water covers 71.111% of earth.
2. While the land covers 28.889%
