which windows version do you want to install ?

I have not come across a copy of windows rt ether for sale ama a copy somewhere, if you want to install windows8, you will need an intel or amd chip, unless your hanging android tablet has either it will be a process in futility.

either way, even if it was possible - windows os need more memory and processing power, so if android is hanging due to the specs - a copy of windows on the same device would 'park the bus' on you.

uko na kazi mbele yako!! not even sure how this is going to work coz the tablet manufacturer may not even support windows!! i am sure the best you can do is get some windows CE install on it (if board support packages exist for that processor).... in short - sioni how it's possible but there maybe some way

First of all, forget about installing any Windows version on Android hardware. Never ever going to work.

If a full hardware reset didn't do the trick, then you may have hardware issues. If you haven't done a hardware reset, then do it after backing up all your data.

If, after all the above you still want/have to flash a new unofficial ROM (android version) for your specific make and model, check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/ and see what's available. Note: a bit of a high learning curve but the rewards are well worth it.

Wait, is that even possible? Coz if it were I'd think we'd have a ton of cheap Tecno Android phones running iOS.

thanks @all
This now seems an uphill task.
the tech gurus know all this things can be done so they make sure the gadgets are incompatible.
@Ash Ock, i will try your version and give a feed back here. the back up has been done and not much is at stake if it doesn't work i revert.
@Vallerrie,its only a matter of time and all the options will be tried and tested.
Geeks are thinking out there, trust me.

@Vallerrie, I already have OSX running on my laptop alongside Windows 7. Not too hard to do. Techies are already working on porting IOS to Android phone hardware. In a matter of time, it's going to be done.

Stupid question - is the OS on the tablet the original one?
