There were no kidnaps for ransom,paedophiles,rapists,thugs uncontrolled developments,fences,pit bulls,tresspassing,then.Everyone belonged to the community and people cared for each other.
I once saw a kid getting rained on outside their house cz the maid wasn't in to open.
Couldn't help but wonder how long he'd been there and why the next door neighbour didn't seem to care.
Everything positive being done today and geared towards modernisation curtails our freedom and affects the way we relate.
