The Garment 'devolved' National Schools such that every country was awarded theirs how come some counties have their national schools playing in the 'D' league when others are scoring A

How did the national schools from your county perfom and what should be done?

me thinks We should start by opening Branches (Franchises) say of Alliance High School in every countysmile

Say imagine Nyakemincha Sec gets Rebranded and renamed Alliance Girls Nyamirasmile

Shimo la Tewa becomes Starehe High School Mombasa etc

The schools were established last year.

Can you please wait until the lot that entered the schools when they were national schools go for their exams. You surely don't expect Isiolo girls which only had a desk and 2 teachers to rank just because the gov't is Jubilee? In 1 year? Surely.

Which year was Shimo la Tewa established
It was a National School before

Now to my query if indeed it was equity that the Gaarment wanted to achieve dont you think a more radical approach involving eg redistribution of teaching staff and total rebranding would have achieved better results

supposing your isiolo Girls was rebranded Starehe Girls Isiolo or Precious Blood, and equipped appropriately do you think there could have been marked improvement

I know of many parents whose kids were selected to these 'upgraded' national schools and they said nada afadhali county schools

INshallah we shall be year 4-5 years from now and compare notes

my thesis remains that with the approach taken nothing much will change

The old schools will still get the demand even if you give resources to the new national schools. People have an attachment to old established schools which would explain why despite the old names declining in performance most students opt for them.
