the film Budget was $55 million. I guess you get what you sign for not what you are worth.

I loved his character in the movie! I could have sworn he is a real terrorist.
I loved how he called the captain 'Irish'. Very talented actor.
....above all, to stand.

Guys like Tom Hanks base their pay on percentage of what the movie make, they attach their name to the movie and help in the marketing.

it's all in the contract! i don't think actors like the arrangement to get a % of the earnings (who knows whether it will make money or flop). that is a list of 'over paid actors'

what you negotiate for is what you get. its not about what the others get or what the movie makes

I think he should be content. He will most likely make 5 to 10 times more in his next film.

this was his first movie they had to train him and all that. he was paid and kwisha. 65K is good pay that is what most masters degree holders earn on average per year and he lives in a cheap neighbourhood so that is enough live on for a year. and the accolades will attract more opportunities and he can then raise his fee

An actor earnings is not all based on percentage but the more earnings you want and depending on your star power you can add the percentages.

That's good money for a first movie. He should now create a name for himself to command more pay like kina tom hanks and will Smith. After all if tom hanks was not in the movie, who would have watched it?
