Anyone with a primary school child there ? Pls advice how the school is, performance & discipline. Wish my boy to join std 5 next year. Any other good primary school academy suggestions around Athi River & Kitengela will also help. Tried Crest Acacia and it's impossible to get an admission due to limited chances.
Help a brother.

@silk go and see performance of Star Sheikh academy, Athi River. They take over 50 pupils to National every year, it tops in Machakos county, yet pupil population of 200 per class. Amazing how the over 60 teachers do the job.
Best pupil nationally last year came from that school.
Just go and see the charts.

How is it that both came out tops in Machakos county? Ha ha it was a tie... Let me confirm my records... Correction: Star Sheikh has been top in Machakos for 5 years in a row previous. Lukenye came 1st last year. And 80 pupils joined National school from Star Sheikh last year. In terms of effort, Star Sheikh have higher intake. That might explain why Lukenye were better on average score. NOTE: Just sharing. It's up to every parent to choose. I'm not trying to convince anybody.

Help a brother. Just go visit the schools and form your own opinion... then decide which is best for your boy. It's amazing how a short visit can reveal about a school. Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Does the primary school your child attends really matter? Why not take them to the nearest one to your house? My take is that if you have a home that encourages inquiry and scholarly pursuit the school the children attend is of little consequence.
