Ever got shoes from Ethiopia? They have these industries where they make for UK/US markets. Some find their way into our beloved Kenya. A friend once hooked me up with a pair which lasted 4 years. Just replaced them last year with "not so good" ones. Cost me 4k then, will try find that guy. O'wise hapa mjini, I lost hope in looking for "Genuine Leather" if at all that exists. I'm tired of bata, lately they have become synonymous with poor quality. Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

Since "bata prefect " in primary school... Maybe slippers only. Btw, guys need to try City Stadium. Life is joy, death is peace, but the transition is very difficult.

Its only that I couldn't imagine mawinder leaving his 75k-a month-rent kileleshwa apartment, then puts 1k fuel in his premio/subaru and heads to the other side of town, parks outside a mitumba shop and starts to bargain for mitumba shoes (while clutching a 65k Samsung S4).

i once bought ethiopian shoes at garisa lodge. They lasted for so many years. These days it seems no one is vukisharing them through the boarder any more. Bata shoes do not last as they used to. Maybe you should bahatisha in the supermarkets. As Iron Sharpens Iron, So one Man Sharpens Another.

Wazuans are a peculiar lot. In a place where thought is abandoned, freedom can become a curse.
