I dislike those colleagues who eat in the office, kwanja there is this njaruo who usually carry fish and when he warms the thing in the oven the whole office will smell like burukenge for a week or two.

What are you talking about? My lady deskie always carry milk-ndazi and she has always asked to me to taste one or two...her food is usually sweet but I dont like the culture of eating in the office nonetheless.

The sad truth is we spend most of our conscious hours in the office so eating in the office is almost automatic because you get to know more about the fish than the one you meet in church, neighborhood or the watering hole. I'd say if he's serious about this fish then why not. He's a grown up, they are both adults and knows the repercussions if any and eventual fall outs. Also define the relationship whether you're just helping each other with meeting needs or it's progressive.
