Or people are buying this car coz bei imeshuka kidogo and they then coma and realize that the capacity is not 1300cc but a Guzzler? Portfolio: Sold You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

Mark X is a great car IMHO, the number of people owning it should be irrelevant if it works for your circumstances unless you are a very vain person.

I do 10km/l on my 3000cc on a highway ( not on the mark X though) which i do not consider too bad. Trouble is while on slow traffic where it is terrible- at one point did 5km/l and almost switched off and walked! Our roads are terrible "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

@pf. I think its the opposite. Nowadays any Tom dick and Harry can afford a 3000cc car. Even zamani Mercedes were associated with class and you could only find them parked huko muthaiga, runda etc. These days you find lots of mercs owned by tenants wa flats huko kasarani, donholm, rongai, Kitengela etc. The policemen never even bother to salute merc owners kwa roadblocks these days.

I've also noted that the prices for Mark X zimeshuka kiasi. 2 friends who had the car both gave almost the same reason for selling, engine problems.....i couldn't get more details so sijui kama its a genuine concern.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

My Merc II is doing fine apart from the airbag flag status message on the dashboard. I cant complain! Portfolio: Sold You know you've made it when you get a parking space for your yatcht.

The curse of the African Midro crass In other countries you'll find someone with a wonderful house but rides a bicycle to and from work. Exercise, no jam and no expensive depreciating asset

Cause you can only chastise others when you are not guilty of the 'sin' yourself, otherwise its a perfect case of hypocrisy ..nyani haoni kundule .... About bicycles in other countries,...yes, there are cultures that are highly evolved (but also have very reliable public transit systems - making personal cars unnecessary). In yet other countries, car ownership comes with very high taxes (Hong Kong for instance). In the UK (London), they have congestion charges, which are high enough to discourage people driving into cities. In conclusion, do not oversimplify - different places, different circumstances.

Touched a raw nerve? I preach and drink my water, 5 years bila ride now I walk or cycle to town, best decision I ever made. If I seriously need a car, taxi or car-hire. And if I'm ever forced to buy a car.. it will be those tiny 900cc ones. @maka, its the bad feeling you get, after kuchekelewa, that is the curse

Unapologetic and belligerent like that when it comes to cars; So yes, raw nerve. Have a good Friday otherwise

And the middle class (esp. younger ones) see no problem with taking a loan to buy the 3000cc machine. You can now stunt at Galileos & Masaku7s! Formally employed people often live their employers' dream & forget about their own.
