I have been chatting with this absolutely wonderful guy for the past few weeks but we have never met. a mutual friend connected the two of us claiming that we are a perfect match. We really like each other and feel that its now to have a first meeting.

I know that first impressions really matter and it will determine whether this guy will give me a chance or not.

So Wazua men, please tell me. What things do women do that puts you off completely and will discourage you from ever calling her again, especially after a first meeting.

The man who marries a beautiful woman, and the farmer who grows corn by the roadside have the same problem

Being like Susan of tujuane.

I'll dwell on what I like. For me, I like a lady that smiles a lot. A smile is actually the first thing I always notice. I'm a totally happy fellow myself na sipendi kukaa na watu wamenuna, AMA mtu ameweka sura ngumu kama paper ya Maths, zii. Smile a lot and laugh too when he cracks a joke.
NB: One can always spot a fake or forced laughter/smile. When u smile genuinely, your eyes smile too...really!

Obviously, be a good conversationalist. First meeting you're likely to talk generally about a wide range of topics and interests, it helps if you know your current affairs, etc. just know a little of everything.

The most divisive things usually are matters to do with religion, politics and in keeping with our peculiarity as Kenyans, tribe. Keep off those for the moment at least until you're sure where his interests lie.

That said, just relax and be yourself...and enjoy the meet/date. All the best.
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

be yourself...makes the person know who u really are for real. Don't try to be something you are not. Meeting someone for the first time makes one nervous...but don't forget even the other person is nervous too.
You cant win, unless you first begin....
