Tea export advice- not through Msa brokers

Dear Wazuans,

I would like advice on exporting tea bought directly from factories to a customer abroad.( market guaranteed as this is not the traditional destinations)

I do not intend to buy from brokers/auction in Mombasa or use their services.

Please advise on regulations, pricing and any other pro and cons. thanks in advance

@Mastermind, because i can source pure Kenya tea from factories( i gather at the Mombasa auction tea comes from Uganda, Rwanda etc) and also to avoid dealing with the established cartels there. The people am in discussion with expect only Kenya tea.

I also intend to learn the ropes while at it and do not think the opportunity will present itself if i go that route given the interests and probably the cash requirements etc. I hope I have answered your query, now please give me advise if you have any. Thank you

Try advice from the regulators who are TBK (Tea Board of Kenya) or KTDA.
The opposite of courage is not cowardice, it's conformity.

Tea Board of Kenya website has all the details , I hear tea export business is quite lucrative.

I heard the same about petrol station business...until I saw this
