Lets embrace for the falling market

Well,the market has been going up for sometimes,now! Methinks the dem thing is about to start falling down,prices should start going down.
Eg. safaricom from 3bob - 2.7bob,NBK from 38bob,to 33bob,TPS from 39bob,to 33bob,CFC from 62 to 50bob. Msc from 4.8 to 4bob. BBK from 50 to 40bob,etc.
Anybody else sharing my sentiments? Anybody else feelign the same?

Your prediction will be true starting june 2012. For now,i don't think so.

I dnt think so coz the market has been rising steadily,thea is significant increase in mkt activities. The climb may have hicups coz of profit taking from time to time but overall i think thez a much positive feeling about the mkt and north AT THE MOMENT seems the only place the mkt is headed ..so panda basi twende.mahali itasimama tutashuka tupande nyingine..

there seems to be a significant market correction the world over and this is affecting the emerging markets too. NSE has started to feel it. i expect that in the next two to four weeks the market shall remain subdued with no significant gains... NEVER TALK OF A RHINO IF THERE IS NO TREE NEAREBY - ZULU PROVERB ...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

Only 6 counters are up so far this morning...all with very small volumes [less than a million bob worth] and very few deals [only one deal on most of them].....except BBK with 15m bob on 41 deals. The rest are mostly down or flat. Conclusion: don't get too excited,don't change your strategy....if buying,keep buying,if selling keep selling..... Behind the gardens...Behind the wall...Under the tree (Including: Red...Dark Blue...Yellow) Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

Relax guyz...I have a feeling we wont be seeing below 3000pts for a long long time. The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

Let everyone employ their own strategy. Those of us who watch the market very closely were buying shares as you predicted (rather WISHED for) the fall of the market. By the time shares stabilised or peaked - since Friday through to Monday and yesterday,we were selling and cashing in gains. The trick is to get a broker who will execute your order on the basis of a telephone call - within minutes,if not seconds. Now,we are just WAITING for the shares to fall to a level where we can buy again. No emotion whatsover - let the market do the thinking for us.
As for those who are buying shares on the basis of good solid fundamentals,over the long term,this will always be a winning strategy. But some of us are traders,and we want our money NOW>

The old seasoned players in the market has a way of taking the novice and green player to a KA. I think after the KA zones are attained for most of the stocks,the gurus are staging in for an assault after it attains slightly above the previuos level.2800-3000

Actually,you must have been looking at yesterday's drop in the index. I guess you musta been watching (viewing) CNBC. Today's drop is much higher at 82 points. C'est la vie! You've got to be able to take the good with the bad.

I always use three brokers and spread my shares for security purposes. Atleast one of them will be able to transact. SIB,CFC and Kestrel have never failed me.

@Eli I don't mean to be pedantic,but I believe you meant 'Lets brace for the falling market' NOT 'Embrace' It would be nice if you edited your heading. I've noticed the youth in particular coming in to a workplace with a completely outsized notion of their own value and importance... just a thinly-veiled arrogance. May be the credit crunch induced recession is whats needed to remind us all about the value of hard work....
