How do we know this link is not just malware or some virus? Post the snapshot here on Wazua, not as a link

Its an excel file.

Mediafire is a file sharing platform. The above link will show you its an excel file but its not showing the graphs well. That's why I put a download link. No one has complained yet.

To be honest I'm flattered that you think I'm capable of writing malware but I'm offended you'd think that this would be my approach to deploy it.

Back to code. I have to try and make sense of 21,819 topics. Its either that or I'm too embarrassed to come back to Wazua and since I realized I'm addicted to Wazua, challenge accepted:)

Thanks for the graphs. Am I missing something, what do each of the bars mean? i.e. on the investor work sheet, there are four coloured bars showing 62%, 71%, 14%, 21% under stocks. 62% of what? BTW I'm using an android phone with Polaris Office, maybe it is not showing the full picture.

Thank you Gordon Gekko. You are a confirmation someone has looked at my work. This is the explanation:

% Investor Topics (62.2%) - Is the percentage of topics that stocks hold in in the total investor section.

% Investor Posts (71.0%) - Is the percentage of posts(or replies) that stocks hold in the topics under investor section.

% Wazua Topics(14.0%) - Is the percentage of topics that stocks hold in comparison to total Wazua topics.

% Wazua Posts(21.0%) - Is the percentage of posts that stocks hold in comparison to total Wazua posts.

Stocks section is popular but nothing but Club SK especially life for some reason.

My attempt is to try and understand what Kenyans all over the world and others gain from or want to learn from Wazua and thus learn what opportunities that lie within. Though I'm still not through.I'm going to dig deeper into each section and gain more insights. My next step is to try and understand the relationship between replies and views on a thread. It is not my intention to invade on anyone's privacy.

You have my full and unreserved PERMISSION to invade my privacy so long as you post all findings here for debate and interrogation.

I will gladly play guinea pig.

Wazuans I am tired! At least I'm through with code.

http://www.mediafire.com/view/?fbj532dso03cwx1

This one is to view its an excel file.

http://www.mediafire.com/?fbj532dso03cwx1

This is the download link.

Its raw data for Club Sk - Life. Started with that for obvious reasons from the previous graphs.

Two issues to be encountered as I continue:
1.Threads in the wrong section.
2.Misleading thread topics in terms of the content contained within.

All in all,a great way to spend my afternoon.Hope you enjoy.

I think I will start with the Group section. I am shocked. To quote Wazua - "1 in every 3 working Kenyans belong to a Chama." Personally I think its more.People are even members of more than one Chama. They are so Kenyan.

Back to why I am shocked. The leading sections in terms of posts and most views are Advice and Investing respectively. The worst performing in terms of posts is Triumph although it still beats Running in views.

Opportunity to probe: Chamaas are already set up. People are seeking information on how to better them and convert them from savings groups to investment clubs or a mixture of both. People are also seeking advice on how to run them and looking for triumph stories in an attempt to replicate the success.

Interestingly enough there a good number of posts on:CPA,CISA,CFA and ACCA in that section. Financial education!

Groups - Starting Data
Groups - Running Data
Groups - Investing Data
Groups - Triumph Data
Groups - Advice Data

Gossip yes, rumors not so much. I haven't found a site in Kenya that disseminates and processes information as fast and as accurate as Wazua. Crowdsourcing at its best.
