Yesterday, Britam safcom and Changamka launched a micro health insurance with Britam through their MPESA.

Anyone with additional info, since insurance is not a darling of many unless its mandatory (e.g vehicles)

Britam Linda jamii - relaunch

Britam will launch new product called Linda jamii that aim to provide medical cover to the family . It Will partner with safaricom as members will subscribe via phone at a cost of sh 12000 per family per year. It intended to cover most of low income earners.

Regardless of other factors such as age, numbers, gender etc. What are the limits?

The cover age limit during entry is btn 18-75 yrs but exceed upon entry It outpatient (50k) and inpatient(200k) maternity(30k) and death 40k limit for principal or spouse only
